Passive Fire Protection

At Anglian Brickwork Ltd we take fire safety very seriously and following on from the Grenfell disaster we realised that we should formalise the work we do with regards to fire stopping.

We have undertaken the CITB installing fire barriers and breaks course and are accredited to the IFCC and are a certified installer of passive fire protection.

The IFCC are an independent UKAS accredited body that provides third party product and installer certification.

This means that we can combine award winning brickwork with the peace of mind of a third-party fire accreditation.

This third-party accreditation shows competency, it ensures the work is done to a set standard and therefore provides completed buildings fire standards and safety.

We have undertaken inspections and tests to become an IFC certified installer of passive fire protection. We will also undergo regular audits and we want to maintain this accreditation to give an improved standard of fire safety in the whole industry.
